PROGRAMME COUNTRIES:

27 EU countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden AND Iceland, Liechtenstein, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Norway, Turkey Serbia and United Kingdom*

*NOTA BENE - Status of students from the United Kingdom as of January 2021
Students from the United Kingdom who are - or will be - enrolled in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in European Literarary Cultures CLE (intakes 2019-21, 2020-22, 2021-23 and 2022-24) will continue to be assimilated to Programme Country students and/or residents.

PARTNER COUNTRIES:

all other countries.

Program country students:
1. Students whose citizenship is one of the program countries.
2. Students with a partner country citizenship who are resident in a program country or have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months, over the last five years (calculated backwards as from the submission deadline defined by the Consortium of applying for the CLE), in a program country.


Partner country students:
Students with a partner country citizenship who are not resident in a program country and who don’t have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months, over the last five years (calculated backwards as from the submission deadline defined by the Consortium of applying for the CLE), in a program country.

12-month rule:

Students who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months, over the last five years in a program country, count as partner country students. The five-year reference period for this 12-month rule is calculated backwards as from the submission deadline defined by the Consortium of applying for the CLE Master.
